California School of Culinary Arts is one of the few culinary schools in the U.S. that is affiliated with Le Cordon Bleu – the world’s most famous name in the field of culinary arts. With courses based on Le Cordon Bleu program taught by professional and experienced chefs, CSCA offers intensive instruction in culinary techniques. The school received accreditation from the Accrediting Council for Independent Colleges and Schools (ACICS).
Since 1994, CSCA has offered four distinct programs: a fifteen month Culinary Arts program; a twelve month Hospitality and Restaurant Management program; and a thirty-week program in Patisserie and Baking.
The school takes full advantage of its diverse surroundings. With a campus at 521 East Green Street in Pasadena, less than thirty minutes from Los Angeles, students can explore local markets and cross paths with famous chefs. They can visit wine country and sample the food at four star restaurants.

The facilities include thirty modernized kitchens and nine classrooms. The school’s Learning Resource Center provides students and faculty with up-to-the-minute industry information. In addition, there is a campus restaurant, Bistro 561, where students plan the gourmet menu, prepare the food, and serve the customers in order to gain real life work experience.
CSCA understands that some students need financial aid if they are to pursue their dreams of becoming a professional in the food industry. Therefore, they are dedicated to helping students with tuition planning. In addition, federal and state financial assistance is available to qualified students.
